These video's are respectfully embedded here, go + buy these tunes and support these great Artists, or their Personal Appearances. These are foundation people's. Concious peoples, and to be frank, artists like this...provided me with the 'reasoning foundation' of my youth...+ big up Rodigan too.

Friday edit....chill your brain...+ catch this ...'Queen Majesty'

The tune below is a little 'off-piste' but it's one of those foundation tunes again...that you can learn from...Gwwaaaaaan Leroy Sibbles..

NB. I don't want people to take things in a 'fox news way' (always finding room to twist everything to hate on Obaama)....This peice is not about 'sanatising Africa', it is about continuing in the tradition of telling the truth when people have put forward a very distorted and 'liar-based' history of an entire people...AND make us buy pencil case and school uniform to hear the lies!...It  has been an affront....For sure, bad things were also going on in Africa..people are people, at the end of the day....but the more the truth about the good, the better.  I bin digging the Lambeth Black History Month programme.

And as it is Friday...and as a backward and forward glance to the resistant African spirit....to come through things and more time....still be able to crack a joke.....and  even have a positive attitude in our selves, I  dedicate this tune..Party time.

These videos right are radical tunes...said in a forthrite way...prob not to everyone's taste...if it was film it would be a '15'

WHAT'S UP?

So the show will take place in parts....between now and the 31st December.

Above is part one... which is a Visual story on the continent of Africa, with some accompanying music...then part 2 will follow the Motherland story from Africa, crossing to the Atlantic. AND MORE TO COME.......

The Nubian Lounge will open with some exciting Performer Artists on 17th November. This painting left, (by Abena) is an image that deals with some of the causes relating to the issues on the page....If you did 'tune in' on the day it was (the show) supposed to start, you would've seen me say who my two of my favourite artists where, and I think you can see some of the influences in this one....WHO ARE they....write to blackartcity@yahoo.com, or you can check the background info...click above.
